Media Dog Birmingham is based behind Hall 3 of the National Exhibition Centre.
• On arrival at the NEC from M42 Junction 6/A45 roundabout, follow the road around to the right and follow signs for Gate 1 (next to the Hilton Metropole Hotel, at the next roundabout).
• Security will check you in and after the barriers turn right at the mini roundabout.
• Follow that road between the old and new halls, under the ‘slow down’ sign.
• At the first mini roundabout take the first exit and keep going until you are at the back of Hall 3.3.
• Media Dog is unit 4A on your right. Parking and loading from the front of the building.

Media Dog’s home in Birmingham is at the heart of one of the most exciting Exhibition sites in the UK. Simple motorway access from the M42 providing easy access from the South West (M5, M42), London (M40), and Nottingham (M42), along with easy links to the M6 M1 and M69 to Leicester. We are also a 2 minute walk from Birmingham International Train Station, and a Monorail from Birmingham International Airport.
By Car
Media Dog is situated 8 miles East of Birmingham city centre; its central location ensures it is at the hub of the UK motorway network. You can travel directly to us using the following motorways – M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42.
When finding us follow the signs for The NEC on motorways and major roads and they will bring you straight to us. Use the map above to locate our unit, behind Hall 3.3.
Using Sat Nav
Please be aware that the Sat Nav system will not direct you right to us as the NEC is a big site, please follow the instruction below to find us… the best postcode to use is B40 1PP, which will take you to Gate 1, which is the security gate you must use to get to us.

M6 Toll
As a free flowing alternative to the M6, the M6 Toll offers reliably shorter journey times through the West Midlands. It runs between Junctions 4 and 11 of the M6, and there is easy access to The NEC from Junction T1 of the toll road.

By Train
The NEC and Media Dog are situated adjacent to Birmingham International Rail Station.
Depending on your origin station you can travel directly by train to Media Dog by alighting at Birmingham International. If your point of origin does not provide a service directly to Birmingham International you will need to travel to Birmingham New Street first and get a connecting train from there.

From Birmingham New Street
Birmingham New Street Station is a short journey of approximately 10-15 minutes from Birmingham International Station, with trains running every 10 minutes.
Once off the train
Once you have arrived at Birmingham International Rail Station take the stairs or lift from any platform up to the station interchange. The entrance to The NEC is situated on the right hand side as you exit the station and is clearly signposted. Continue to walk along the covered walkway called the bridgelink where you will need to take the stairs or lift down. Following the signs to the Ibis Styles hotel, you will see Media Dog at the back of Hall 3.3 on the way to the hotel.
By Bus
Media Dog can be reached by a number of local bus services. If you are travelling to us from Birmingham city centre there are two route options:
- The 900 service leaves from Moor Street Interchange and has a daytime frequency of 20 minutes and will drop you at Birmingham International Station with a journey time of approximately 31 minutes.
- The 38 service leaves from Moor Street Interchange hourly, it has a journey time of approximately one hour and will drop you off at Birmingham International Station.

The National Express coach station is located in Digbeth in Birmingham city centre.

Coach
National Express run services between Digbeth coach station and Birmingham International Airport.
Bus
The 900 service travels from Digbeth to Birmingham International Station and has a daytime frequency of 20 minutes and will drop you at Birmingham International Interchange with a journey time of approximately 25 minutes.
Train
Birmingham New Street station is approximately an 11 minute walk from Digbeth coach station.
Taxi
Media Dog is approximately a 10 mile journey by taxi from Digbeth coach station.
